The Przy Młynie Regional Inn exemplifies the perfect marriage of 'lordliness' and 'highlandness', in both its architecture and food served.

It was created by combining the widest amphitheatre in Podhale and two buildings: the ‘Włodek’ guesthouse, built in 1923, which presents the classic Zakopane guesthouse style, and an old highlander cottage from 1904 that was moved from the Podhale village of Maruszyna. The whole is complemented by a 19th-century working mill from the village of Stare Bystre, erected by the ponds in the garden, which gave its name to the whole site.
Just as in the architecture, lowlander features are mixed with highlander ones in the culinary offer: traditional Polish cuisine – with dishes prepared according to old highlander recipes on an old-fashioned cooker, ‘ftory wyryktowol zdun ze Zębu, tak jako jego łociec, dziadek budorzyli’, which gives them the unique flavour that comes from being cooked on a beechwood-fired cooker, and the smoking process, known in Podhale for centuries, adds a distinctive aroma.
