A symbol of modern Tarnów, one-of-a-kind, active water tower in Poland and a world-class sensation. The steel construction has a height of 37 metres.
Designed by the end of 1970s in Warsaw University of Technology and built in the beginning of the 1980s, the “Cupola”is a water tank shaped like a tyre, capable of fitting 3000 cubic metres of water. The water tower operates at the climax of water consumption by the biggest and highest blocks of flats (the so-called “Falklands”).
It is owned by Tarnowian Water Supplies. Unfortunately, it is unavailable for tourists.
