The inn is by far the sweetest in Małopolska, full of honey delicacies. Nothing is surprising about this, as busy bees have made their home right next door – Bartna Chata is part of the 'Sądecki Bartnik' Apiary of Anna and Janusz Kasztelewicz.
'Honey is nature's miracle' is the slogan of 'Sądecki Bartnik’. No one needs to be convinced of the taste and health values of bee products. The honey menu is alluded to by the name of the restaurant. But the second part of the term is also not insignificant – 'Chata' indicates a cosy place where the hostess and chef are one and the same. Real housewives prepare meals for guests at 'Bartna Chata’. Each of them brought something from the culinary traditions of their own family homes and the Galician villages to the menu based on old Polish recipes. The inn’s exquisite honey beer made from natural honey and traditional Old Polish meads, blends perfectly with regional dishes. There are two spacious rooms: a dining room (with a unique tiled stove), a dance room (which also serves as a conference room), and a mezzanine. The inn offers views of the nearby park with a pond, children's playground and petting zoo at any time of the year. Anyone wishing to learn more about the life of the hard-working insects that make the honey that appears on our tables can visit the Beekeeping Museum located right next door after a tasty meal at 'Bartna Chata’.
