Introduction to the declaration

The Marshal's Office of the Małopolska Region undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies. The Declaration on Accessibility applies to the website.

The characteristics of individual buildings considering the minimum requirements of architectural accessibility in accordance with Article 6 of the Act of 19 July 2019 on ensuring accessibility for persons with special needs are posted on the pages of the Bulletin of Public Information (BIP) of the Office.

There is an external information board at each of the Office's locations. In addition, there are information boards inside the buildings with the floor and room numbers occupied by the Office. In multi-storey buildings there is similar information in the passenger lifts. In most locations, there is a customer service desk and/or a reception at ground level, which provide information on the layout of the rooms in the building. Voice information is also included in the description of architectural accessibility of buildings on the Office's BIP website

The Office provides access to the buildings for people using an assistance dog.

In case of evacuation in the buildings, the Voice Alarm System, audible signalling or alarms are activated, depending on the location. In other locations, public address horns and voice announcements are used to signal the alarm.

In all locations of the Office, evacuation of persons with special needs is based on the support provided by post holders designated for evacuation in each location/on each floor of the building.

Information and Communication Accessibility

The Office provides a sign language interpreter service available from the website www.malopolska.pl. The customer using this form of communication can make a remote connection with an interpreter or use this service in the Office, wherever there are properly equipped workplaces – computer with a camera, access to the Internet, microphone/speaker. The service is available at all locations of the Office. Designation of the sign language interpreter service – a pictogram of signing hands – is located at customer service points and near secretariats in locations without separate service areas.

Communication support for the hearing impaired is provided by induction loops located in the following locations:

  • at 72 Wielicka Street (building B) – Main Information Point of the European Funds and conference room No. 106,
  • at 56 Racławicka Street (building B) – Customer Service Point (ground floor) and the Małopolska Regional Assembly Room (7th floor),
  • at 22 Basztowa Street – customer service point (ground floor),
  • at the Local Points of the European Funds – customer service desks.

On the website of the Office there is information about the scope of activities of the Office in Polish Sign Language and a file containing the machine-readable text.

At the request of a person with special needs, the Office shall provide service in the requested form.

In the case of a request for service to a customer with special needs in a room located immediately outside the entrance to the building of the Office, the employee carrying out the service shall go down to the customer. The request for this type of service may be submitted through the reception, by telephone 12-630-33-33 or via e-mail urzad@umwm.malopolska.pl
