The feasting tradition has been rooted in Kraków for centuries. In 1364, on the Main Market Square of Kraków, a famous 21-day feast, organized for four kings by the City Council and the king, was hosted by a wealthy merchant – Mikołaj Wierzynek.

Nowadays, sumptuous dinners which take place in specially arranged scenery are an integral par t of international meetings, congresses, and conferences. In the Małopolska Region the rich range of places where you can organize a par ty will pleasantly surprise guests from all over the world. The variety of places is complemented by the wealth of the regional cuisine based on seasonal products. For example,  the  interior of  the gallery of the National Museum located in the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) on the Main Market Square will add prestige to any event for up to 300 people. Among the greenery of a park, romantic atmosphere will be provided by the decjusz’s Villa (up to 250 people), the Renaissance balconies of which are a perfect place for private conversations. A great attraction may be a party at  the Center of Japanese Art and Technology “Manggha” vis á vis  the Wawel Castle (up  to 380 people). The Gardens of the Archaeological Museum placed at the foot of the Wawel Castle are a perfect venue for parties in the open air, even for 900 people. To the exceptional localities we may also add the Wieliczka Salt Mine, inscribed on the frst UNESCO World Heritage List, which can accept up to 600 people, at the level of 327 meters under  the ground. Another original place  is  the City Engineering Museum  in Kraków which,  in addition  to  the function of a museum, can host special events, such as dinners or cocktails for 300 people. While “under the wing” of the Aviation Museum in Kraków, in an airplane hangar, you can arrange a gala for up to 1,000 people. The 14th century Royal Castle in Niepołomice, a former royal residence surrounded by wilderness, was often the scene of impor tant events in the history of Poland. Nowadays, the complex of fve representative royal chambers and ancient cellars, with a large cour tyard, raises the status of every par ty, for up to 800 people. Admirers of outdoor feasting may choose Zalesie farm, where, amid a picturesque panorama, in 200-year-old buildings, they can organize a traditional feast or a picnic  for almost 1,500 people.
