The Sound and Word Museum is the only museum of phonography in Poland. It occupies seven exhibition rooms and comprises about 150 exhibits, the oldest of which are 130 years old. Going through the rooms, we learn about forgotten sound-reproducing devices and their history and development. In the museum, we also have a chance to feel the atmosphere of the past.

An integral part of the exhibition is the listening room with about 2,000 vinyl records. Each visitor can listen to the selected album at one of seven specially prepared listening stations.

In addition to the museum, it houses a modern auditorium with seats for 220 spectators, a recording studio and workshop rooms with a total area of 280 m2, including a mirror room with a beautiful terrace, as well as a cinema which can accommodate 60 people and the atmospheric ‘Pod pretekstem’ music club where music is played exclusively from vinyl records.
