The Tabakowy Chodnik Inn is located in Zawoja, at the foot of Mt Babia, amidst a forest by a mountain stream. Zawoja is the longest and largest village in Poland in terms of area.

The name of the pub alludes to the time when part of Galicia shared a border with Hungary, and a route for smugglers trafficking in tobacco, cigarettes and snuff – the Snuff Pavement (Tabakowy Chodnik) – ran past today's inn. It led along a forest track from Hala Krupowa through Polica to Zubrzyca Górna, and from there further across the Hungarian (now Slovak) border.
The Tabakowy Chodnik Inn will accommodate all tourists who wish to deviate from this modern tourist route to rest, eat and enjoy the views. The enchanting interior and regional cuisine draw inspiration from the local traditions of Podbabiogórze. In the summer, meals in the garden are accompanied by the sound of a bubbling brook and the aroma of the forest.
In addition to the main room, the inn has a viewing terrace. You can relax to the sounds of regional music and the warmth of a blazing fire in the fireplace. The restaurant organises receptions, regional feasts and barbecue feasts with the roasting of a lamb or pig. The inn can accommodate 100 people.
