Kayaking down the wildest river in Kraków? On the Dłubnia, adventures are guaranteed!
The Dłubnia-Nowa Huta Kayaking Route starts at the Nowa Huta Reservoir. The course is only 5 kilometres long but takes 1.5–2 hours. This is due to the nature of the river. Many obstacles are along the route, such as fallen trees, shallows, rapids and even mini-waterfalls. It leads to the estuary of the Dłubnia River into the Vistula. Then, you turn right and paddle down the wide Vistula until you reach the Wanda Bridge, under which the trip ends. Rafting can be done with an instructor or individually. It is not difficult, and you can take children on it.
In the 2021 Tourist Treasure of Małopolska competition, the Dłubnia-Nowa Huta Kayaking Route was awarded a distinction in the Most Interesting Tourist Route category.
