Tourist region: Gorce i Beskid Wyspowy

Officially opened in 1958, it was the third shelter in the area – the two previous ones, from 1925 and 1934, did not survive the turmoil in the years that were to come.
The facility has 110 places in 2-, 3-, 4-, 6-, 7-person dormitory rooms, a 3-room flat with kitchen, bathroom and living room, and a campsite (bed linens are included in the price of accommodation; and there are shared bathrooms, showers and washbasins on each floor). In addition, there is a buffet and a café as well as a full-service restaurant whose menu includes delicious regional cuisine (with products that typically come from the immediate vicinity of Mt Turbacz, such as mushrooms and berries), all in an atmosphere of unsurpassed charm in the one-of-a-kind Fireplace Room. The hostel is adapted to accommodate people with disabilities.
The hostel offers unique conditions for mountain lovers, family holidays, residential camps for children and young people, conventions, symposia and training courses. An asset and a great attraction are the cross-country skiing trails and ski hiking in the beautiful winter scenery of the Gorce National Park. From May to October, those who love to explore on two wheels will be sure to want to hit the bicycle routes. The hostel hosts an annual WinterCamp, where hikers gain experience in winter camping and safe outdoor sports.
You can get here in many ways, thanks to the location of the hostel at the junction of the largest node of tourist trails in the Gorce Mountains: hiking, cycling, horseback riding and informational trails for people eager to learn new things – these are given on the hostel's website at https://turbacz.net/jak-do-nas-dotrzec/
