The regional inn in Wysowa-Zdrój in the Beskid Niski not only serves Lemko and foothills cuisine. But it serves them in the magical ‘Land of Gentleness’, as this corner of the region is called.

In 2001, Irena and Roman Sulicz opened the doors of Gościnna Chata Inn, realising their most cherished dream. For the inn, the couple chose a wooden building from 1918, and spent many hours studying literature on the Lemkos and visiting various open-air museums and old homesteads before embarking on the renovation. The result is a unique inn styled on an old Lemko house, with an old wood-burning stove (where the bread is baked), historical exhibits and old farming tools and equipment. Wooden sculptures and fruit trees surround the inn.
In 2010, the inn was expanded to include two rooms: a manor house-style room and an old wine cellar. The Gościnna Chata Inn is a quiet and peaceful place where delicacies of Lemko cuisine and traditional dishes are served. All dishes are made to order and include products prepared at the inn, e.g., sauerkraut, pickles, marinades, and jam. at All the herbs, spices, and ingredients used for dishes at the Inn are 100% natural. Guests are served bread baked at the inn, while cheese, cream and butter are sourced from local farms. Vegetarians and vegans won't go away hungry, either. The chef serves dishes for them as well.
