The Rożnowskie Lake with its characteristic bays and peninsulas delights at any time of the year. It offers everything you can dream about; paths for walks, bicycle trips, water sports, visiting castles. There is a large, popular life-guarded swimming area in Gródek. You can rent pedalos or kayaks here. A wide range of water equipment is available at the PTTK Beskid hostel in Znamirowice, on the western side of the lake (beskid.pttk.pl; yachts, boats, windsurfing boards, kayaks, motorboats). There are many resorts with their own swimming areas and equipment rentals located by the reservoir. For people who like walks with history in the background, an interesting object will be the castle that once belonged to Zawisza Czarny. There is also the Tropsztyn Castle in Wytrzyszczka, with which the legend of the Inca gold is connected, and the Tower in Czchów. Climbing enthusiasts can try their hand at the steep rocks of Rożnów. On Rożnowskie Lake, there is Monkey Island, which is a bird reserve.
