Niebo pogodne.

Szklary Tourist region: Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska

The Szklarki is a valley hiding the secrets of the Ojców National Park, and is extremely attractive in terms of nature and landscape. In spring and summer, it enchants with fresh greenery interspersed with bright rock formations, while in autumn it sparkles with a thousand colours of colourful leaves. The Prądnik Valley is a world of caves and limestone rocks forming unusual shapes. The valley has its beginning in Sułoszowa. It is widely regarded as the prettiest valley in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. It's the perfect place for a family trip out of town.

Free of development is the lower part of the valley, where it becomes visibly narrowed; it becomes wooded, deep and winding, and the slopes expose limestone rocks of various ages due, among other things, to the cutting of the area by latitudinal faults. The part of the valley between Jerzmanowice and Szklary is protected by a reserve, and walking along the red trail leading here; we can see everything that the valley conceals that is most beautiful. The apex spurs are the most distinctive and interesting of the valley's landscape features. Witkowe Rocks, Łyse Rocks, Chochołowe Rocks, Brodło, Kozłowe Rocks, and Cisówki are the most famous of the rock formations that we can observe walking along the trail. Some are even used for climbing by enthusiasts of the sport. The Szklarka Creek flows at the bottom of the valley, and Carboniferous limestone rocks and travertines form its bed. For speleologists, on the other hand, the Szklarka Valley is also a world of caves encouraging exploration of the underground world.
In the valley, the main spring that feeds the creek – Pióro, located just off the road in Jerzmanowice, is worth visiting. On the right-hand slope of the valley among the farmland are the Słoneczne Rocks, declared a natural monument.
At the mouth of the valley, in Dubie, there are breeding ponds where anglers can indulge their passion – even trout can be caught!
