Racławka Valley (Kraków Valleys Landscape Park)
Nature
In the initial part there are village buildings in the valley, but further on – it’s completely forested; a nature reserve was created here.
Racławka river flows through the bottom and it cuts into limestone and dolomites of varying ages from Zbrza – the oldest rocks which emerge on the surface in the Kraków area. Three educational paths will help you to find faults here. These paths will not only introduce their geological structure, but also a general natural aspect of the valley.
